Shabwa Governor denies death of 4 soldiers

SHABWA, Sep.22 (Saba)- Shabwa Governor
Ali al-Ahmadi denied on Wednesday the accuracy of what Al-Jazeera TV channel has
reported
on the death of four soldiers in confrontation with terrorists in Maifah district,
Shabwa province.
"The heroes of armed and security forces in these moments are tightening the
blockade on the terrorist elements of al-Qaeda sheltering in some suburbs of
al-Hotah town in
Maifah district", al-Ahmadi said to Saba.
The governor also denied what the channel has reported on arresting of Sheikh
Hussein Ba-Janhan, from al-Hotah town, confirming that Ba-Janhan is one of the
social figures
who support the security efforts to combat terrorism and purge al-Hotah of the
terrorist elements.
On Tuesday evening, al-Ahmadi met with the leadership of local authority in Maifah
district and sheikhs of al-Hotah town to discuss plan to present assistance to the
displaced
people from al-Hotah town.
In this regard, he pointed out that the leadership of Shabwa province has provided
urgent food assistance for one thousand cases of the displaced persons.
