GCE buys energy for $ 6.5 million monthly, says Mutahar
SANA'A, July 27 (Saba)- Director General of the General Corporation for Electricity Abdul-Momen Mutahar said that the corporation pays monthly $6.5 million approximately to buy energy through privatesectors and foreign and local companies.
A statement issued by Alsyasiah, Mutaher pointed out that the program of the corporation for purchasing energy is the result of energy shortage which reached up to 29.5 MB.
He affirmed that Marib Gas Station will begin work in the second quarter of the next year, pointing out that it will support consumption of energy at around 341 MB.
