CARE $1.3 mln educational projects discussed
HAJJAH, July 26 (Saba) - Yemen and CARE discussed here on Monday issues related to work progress of the CARE's 10 educational
projects estimated at a cost of $1.3 million.
Hajjah governor Farid Mujawar and CARE Programmes Officer Natalia reviewed
arrangements and efforts to carry out the coming phase's projects in the education
field, estimated
at 50, at a total cost of $8 million.
The meeting evaluated the completion rate of under implementation projects set at
80%, as well as the structural features of these facilities that cope with the
adopted
standards.
The two officials also affirmed the importance of accelerating implementation of
the project phases and coordination with the local councils in order to overcome
any difficulties.
They also talked about activities of CARE in area of rehabilitating and developing
youth capacity and empowerment of rural girls.
