US Ambassador hosts reception on National Day
VIENTIANE,05 JULY (KPL) - US Ambassador to Laos Ravic R. Husoon on 2 July hosted a reception to mark his country’s 234th National Day (July 4).
Among the guests in the event were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, ministers, deputy-ministers, members of the diplomatic corps and representatives of international organisations in Laos.
The US ambassador highlighted the positive developments in the Lao-US relations over the past time. He expressed his hope that the bilateral ties would further be strengthened in the framework of friendly, active and constructive partnership and multi-faceted cooperation for the sake of both peoples as well as for peace, stability and development in the region and the world at large.
