Yemeni-British cooperation to be progressed, says UK official

SANA'A, July 05 (Saba) - Cooperation aspects is going to witness progressive development in military and security areas, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff in the United Kingdom Lieutenant General Simon
Mayall said Monday.

During his meeting with Minister of Defense Mohammad Naser Ahmad, Mayall said the
visit of the UK military delegation would promote the military cooperation
relations between
the two friendly countries and armies.
The military cooperation would be in fields of training,rehabilitation, information
exchanging and combating terrorism and piracy in order to serve the safety of
marine
lanes in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea via establishing a Yemeni-European
partnership.
The Minister hailed the level of mutual cooperation relations between the two
friendly countries, valuing the British attitudes in supporting Yemen.
In return, the British official noted that the UK is keen to develop its
cooperation relations in accordance with what is going to serve their joint
interests.
