Saleh, Abbas held talks on Palestinian latest developments
SANA'A, July 15 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh held a telephone conversation on Monday with President of PalestinianNational Authority Mahmoud Abbas.
They discussed the current developments in the Palestinian arena, particularly Arab efforts in order to achieve Palestinian reconciliation deal, bring together Palestinian national parties tointerest of Palestinian people and serve its fair issue.
President Saleh confirmed the importance of Fateh and Hamas movements to cooperate with those efforts to strengthen the Palestinian people unity to confront all challenges and to endIsraeli blockade imposed on them in Gaza Strip.
He indicated that the continuous division in Palestinian parties do not serve except enemies of the Palestinian people and harm itsinterest and issues.
President Abbas expressed his appreciation for President Saleh for his interest in the Palestinian unity, appreciating President Saleh's stance supporting the Palestinian issue and rights, particularly its rights to establish the Palestinian state on itsnational land and Quds its capital.
