Iran's Southeastern province to host President
Kerman, May 25, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to visit Kerman province in southeastern Iran on May 26-27, a provincial official told IRNA Tuesday.
Deputy Governor of Kerman province Javad Kamali said the visit will take place in line with the third round of President Ahmadinejad’s provincial tours which started when he took office for his first term as the Iranian President in 2005.
Visiting different Iranian provinces, the President aims to become closely familiar with people’s problems in different parts of the country.
During their two-day stay in the province, President Ahmadinejad and his cabinet members will meet with local people, executive officials, local elites and families of wartime martyrs in the province.
The President will also address people at this provincial capital city’s grand mosque./end
