DOCTORAL CANDIDATE OF CALIFORNIAN UNIVERSITY WINS HEYDAR ALIYEV PRIZE
Baku, May 11 (AzerTAc). Doctoral candidate of the comparative literature faculty of Californian University Lea Feldman won Heydar Aliyev prize, Azerbaijan`s Consulate General to Los Angeles said.
Mrs. Feldman got the prize for her contribution to national self-consciousness studies in the Eurasian space in the 19th and 20th centuries.
The annual Heydar Aliyev prize for American students, who made a difference in Azerbaijan and Eurasian studies was instituted by Azerbaijan`s Consul General to Los Angeles in 2008.
