MILLI MAJLIS VICE-SPEAKER TO ATTEND OIC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF PARLIAMENTARY UNION`s MEETING
Baku, May 8 (AzerTAc). First Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijan Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov will leave for Istanbul tomorrow to attend an extraordinary meeting of OIC`s Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Union.
The event, to bring together OIC member states` parliamentarians, will focus on the situation in the Middle East.
Asgarov will address the meeting which is expected to adopt an Istanbul declaration.
On May 12, Asgarov will travel to Saint Petersburg to attend the 3rd Neva International Congress of Ecology.
The event participants will discuss a number of issues, including energy effectiveness, modernization of economy and environment.
