AZERBAIJAN, NATO DISCUSS PARTNERSHIP
Baku, May 7 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Permanent Representative to NATO Kamil Khasiyev has met secretary general Anders Fogh Rasmussen to discuss partnership between the country and the organization.
They discussed the political dialog and practical cooperation. The two praised the role of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) in developing cooperation between the country and the organization.
Rasmussen hailed Azerbaijan`s participation in the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) operations. He also praised the country`s contribution to ensuring peace and development in Afghanistan.
They also exchanged views on Euro-Atlantic and regional security issues.
