CHIEF ELECTORAL OFFICER MEETS HEAD OF OSCE OFFICE IN BAKU
Baku, May 5 (AzerTAc). Chairman of Azerbaijan Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov has today met head of the OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel.
Panahov said the Commission has always attached great importance to cooperation with international organizations, including OSCE.
Cankorel, in turn, praised the cooperation between the Commission and OSCE, describing it as “fruitful”.
He added “this cooperation will make contributions to Azerbaijan`s electoral system”.
The sides also discussed joint preparatory events to be held by the Commission and OSCE on the eve of parliamentary elections in the country.
