Addressing the conference, Norwegian ambassador to Baku Jon Ramberg said “Azerbaijan is a reliable partner for NATO in various important questions, including energy security and peacekeeping operations.”
As to prospects for Azerbaijan`s joining NATO, the diplomat said, ”it is up to Azerbaijan to decide on the membership.
“If Azerbaijan wants to become a NATO member, we will support it. In any case, we will continue the cooperation with Azerbaijan in this regard”, the ambassador stated.
