AZERI CONSUL GENERAL PRESENTS CARPET TO CALIFORNIAN GOVERNOR
Baku, May 4 (AzerTAc). Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger met with Azerbaijan`s consul general Elin Suleymanov and consul Elman Abdullayev in Los Angeles. Mr Suleymanov presented a carpet with Schwarzenegger`s portrait to the governor.
Consul general expressed gratitude to the governor for annual congratulations on the Day of Republic. Mr. Schwarzenegger praised Azerbaijan`s contribution to development of intercultural dialogue and expressed hope Washington would develop relations with Azerbaijan and other key partners of the USA on a long-term and strategic basis.
