Four Houthi leaders hand themselves in to authority

SANA'A, July 10 (Saba) -Four rebel leaders handed themselves in to the authorities after the security forces could clean up all areas in the district of Bani Hushaish of the al-Houthi followers, localsources have said.

The GPC-run almotamar.net quoted the sources as saying that the four were among several rebels who handed themselves to the local councilof the district which handed them over to the authorities.

The Bani Hushaish district in Sana'a had witnessed in the last months fierce battles between the government forces and the Houthirebels during which many of the two sides were killed.

The two sides, however, have been fighting in the sporadic northernprovince of Saada for more than four years.
