THREE AZERI BOXERS QUALIFY FOR YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES
Baku, May 1 (AzerTAc). Three Azerbaijani boxers have booked a place at this summer`s Youth Olympic Games in Singapore after making it to semifinal of the world championship in Baku.
Salman Alizade, Shaban Shahpalangov and Elvin Isayev compete in the 48kg, 51kg and 57kg weight categories respectively.
The Baku world championship is the only qualifying event for the Singapore Games.
Final bouts of the world youth boxing championship will take place on Monday.
