AZERI ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MINISTER VISITS GEORGIA

Baku, April 30 (AzerTAc). Economic development minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev visited Thursday Georgia.
The purpose of the trip was to discuss how to contribute to boosting economic cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the visit, Mustafayev, together with his Georgian counterpart Zurab Pololikashvili, attended a Georgia-Azerbaijan business forum.
Pololikashvili praised the activity of the Azerbaijani companies in his country.
Mustafayev, in turn, hailed both political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Then, a document on cooperation was signed between the Georgian National Investment Agency and Azerbaijan Export and Investments Promotion Foundation.
The same day, Mustafayev met Georgian Prime Minister Nikoloz Gilauri to discuss how to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
During the trip, minister Mustafayev also visited Dmanisi region where Azerbaijanis live in compact communities.
He also attended a regional business forum in Marneuli region.
During the trip, Mustafayev also met representatives of the Azerbaijani companies, including director of SOCAR-Georgia Mahir Mammadov and head of the “Azersun Holding” company`s office Alikhan Alizade.
