WORLD RELIGIOUS LEADERS ADOPT DECLARATION
Baku, April 27 (AzerTAc). The two-day summit of world religious leaders ended Tuesday with adoption of a final declaration.
The declaration said “globalization did not eradicate threats to the security of states, peoples and individuals.”
It highlighted fight against drug addiction, terrorism and other challenges facing humanity.
The world religious leaders underlined the importance of protecting territorial integrity of states and free development of every nation. They said conflicts must be settled on the basis of international norms and principles.
The summit brought together Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhism and Hindu leaders from 33 countries to discuss impact of globalization on religion and traditional values.
