OANA SUMMIT WRAPS UP IN SEOUL

Baku, April 23 (AzerTAc). The Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) Summit Congress entitled “Challenges and Opportunities for News Agencies” has today ended in Seoul. The summit was culminated in the adoption of a Seoul Declaration.
The same day, the event participants were received by Korean President Lee Myung-bak.
The Korean President spoke of the tasks of news agencies during the global financial crisis. He also answered questions by the participants.
Then, an official reception to mark the end of the OANA summit was organized in Sheraton hotel.
The event, also attended by Korean officials, was addressed by president of Korea`s Yonhap News Agency Park Jung-chan, AzerTAc Director General Aslan Aslanov and OANA`s president Ahmad Mukhlis Yusuf.
The participants also visited Samsung Company.
