FORMER USSR OFFICIALS VISIT HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION
Baku, April 22 (AzerTAc). Employees of the secretariat of USSR Soviet of Ministers, 1982-1987, visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
They were briefed on the Foundation`s goals and activity. They got familiar with the items taken from the national leader Heydar Aliyev`s personal archive.
The visitors were informed that the main goal of the Foundation is to study and popularize Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, give an idea to the future generations about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socio-economic, cultural progress, and assist projects that popularize the history and culture of Azerbaijan.
They also saw photos and documents reflecting different periods of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity.
The guests praised the Foundation`s activity and signed the foundation`s quest book.
The delegation will also visit the Alley of Honors, International Mugham Center, Museums of Modern Art, History and Carpet and Gabala region.
