AZERI DEFENSE MINISTER MEETS PAKISTANI COUNTERPART
Baku, April 22 (AzerTAc). Defense Minister of Azerbaijan Safar Abiyev has today met Pakistani counterpart Syed Athar Ali to discuss cooperation between the two countries` relevant ministries.
Abiyev said his country had fruitful cooperation with Pakistan in all spheres, including military one.
They also discussed the political and military situation in the region and Armenia`s aggressive policy towards Azerbaijan.
It was noted Yerevan puts obstacles to peaceful settlement of the conflict.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Pakistan Eynulla Madatli was present in the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, Syed Athar Ali visited the Alley of Honors to pay respect to memory of Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and the Alley of Martyrs.
