AZERBAIJANI AND INDONESIAN MPS DISCUSS ECONOMIC COOPERATION
Baku, April 21 (AzerTAc). Visiting Indonesia parliamentary delegation led by Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives Pramono Anung Wibowo conferred with representatives of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy about both countries` economic policy.
Chairman of the Committee Ziyad Samadzadeh briefed Indonesian MPs on the economic reforms and laws adopted in Azerbaijan. He said the successful oil strategy lies behind economic accomplishments in the country.
Samadzadeh praised Indonesia`s economic progress and stressed the need to increase trade turnover between the two countries.
Wibowo, for his part, told of the ongoing economic reforms and provided information about effective use of country`s natural resources.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Indonesia Ibrahim Hajiyev was present at the meeting.
