AZERBAIJAN BELIEVES U.S. WILL PRESERVE ‘HEALTHY AND PARTNER`S’ ATTITUDE
Baku, April 21 (AzerTAc). Head of socio-political affairs department at the Azerbaijani President`s Administration has expressed hope the US government would preserve its “healthy and partner`s attitude” towards the country.
“We do not want to spoil our relationship with the United States. But, unfortunately, sometimes circumstances require it. We hope the US government will, as usual, preserve its attitude towards us. And we will fulfill, in line with this, our commitments related to the United States` interests,” Ali Hasanov told journalists.
“We accept the US Department of State`s reaction to discontents in Azerbaijan as normal. We believe the US will remain objective on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue till the end.”
He also expressed hope public reaction in Azerbaijan had had “certain” impact on the US government`s policy think tanks.
