AZERBAIJANI AMBASSADOR MEETS INDONESIAN MPS
Baku, April 18 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani ambassador to Indonesia and Philippines Ibrahim Hajiyev met Friday with members of the Indonesia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary cooperation group.
The ambassador briefed Indonesian MPs on the history of Azerbaijan, its leading role in the region, Azerbaijan government`s activity to find a peaceful solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on the territorial integrity of the country.
The diplomat expressed confident that Deputy Speaker of the Indonesia`s House of Representatives Pramono Anung Wibowo`s visit to Azerbaijan scheduled for April 20-23 would contribute to development of bilateral ties.
Ambassador presented to the group members a book on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict published by the embassy, CDs of films titled “Khojaly tragedy”, “Armenian terror”, book “Terror Myth” by Erich Feigl and film on Azerbaijan`s tourism.
