AZERI FM MEETS US UNDER SECRETARY OF DEFENSE
Baku, April 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met US Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Michele Flournoy.
They exchanged views over bilateral cooperation and regional and global security.
Flournoy stressed the United States praised Azerbaijan`s contribution to global anti-terror war, in particular the country`s peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan.
Mammadyarov stressed “along with contributing to ensuring security in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, at the same time, assists the country in developing its humanitarian and education sectors”.
