Baku, April 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani sambo wrestler Vugar Mammadov has grabbed gold medal of the European championship in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Mammadov secured the title in the 62 kg class after beating Georgian Georgia Tabatadze in the final.
Earlier in the day Azerbaijan claimed two bronzes in the 48kg and 52kg weight categories.
