AZERI FM MEETS FINNISH EU MP
Baku, April 16 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met Finnish MP at the European Parliament Anneli Jaatteenmaki.
Jaatteenmaki said the aim of her Baku visit was to attend an international conference entitled “2010 Parliamentary Elections in Azerbaijan: more democratic, more transparent”.
She praised the relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan.
Mammadyarov also hailed the EU-Azerbaijan ties, stressing “Eastern Partnership program contributes to expanding the bilateral cooperation”.
They also exchanged views over a range of regional and international issues.
