AZERBAIJAN CLAIM 4th EUROPEAN GOLD
Baku, April 16 (AzerTAc). Female wrestler Nadejda Sementsova has increased Azerbaijan`s gold medal haul at the European championship to four after coming out on top in the 67kg class.
Sementsova secured the medal in a tough final encounter that saw her outclass Ukrainian Ekaterina Burmistrova 3-1.
Earlier in the day Sona Ahmadli claimed gold in the women`s 59 kg class after destroying Bulgarian Taybe Mustafa Yuseyn 7-0.
In the men`s competition Azerbaijan won two golds in the 55kg and 66 kg weight categories.
