AZERTAC`S EMPLOYEES RECEIVE AWARDS

Baku, April 15 (AzerTAc). A ceremony to award AzerTAc employees took place here on Thursday.
On the occasion of the AzerTAc`s 90th anniversary, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on February 26, 2010 to bestow honorary titles upon and award Tereggi (Progress) medals to a group of AzerTAc workers.
Opening the event, AzerTAc Director General Aslan Aslanov expressed deep gratitude to the Head of State Ilham Aliyev for his care and attention. He noted the agency worthily represents Azerbaijan in authoritative international news alliances and contributes to advocating Azerbaijani truths around the globe.
Speaking at the ceremony, head of the presidential administration`s department for socio-political affairs Ali Hasanov said President Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor of political course of national leader Heydar Aliyev, welcomes and supports AzerTAc`s activity. According to him, Azerbaijani leader signed many orders to upgrade facilities at AzerTAc and award its workers with state awards.
Ali Hasanov presented awards to the AzerTAc employees.
