Baku, April 15 (AzerTAc). “Solving other problems, putting aside Nagorno-Karabakh, is completely wrong and contradicts national interests of Azerbaijan,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
“What our stance should be towards those whose position contradicts our national interests!? How we can support and protect position of those who violate our interests?! Irrespective of the country size, everything is mutual in the world. It was not invented by us. The world community acts on this principle. Neither economic potential nor military power, nor size of population and territory can play role in bilateral relations. Otherwise, the UN must stop its activity. Every country has equal rights, all countries establish and must establish equal relations. Anyway, Azerbaijan is the country, which take this approach only,” the President added.
