AZERI FM MEETS GERMAN MP
Baku, April 14 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Bundestag MP, deputy chairman of German-Azerbaijan Friendship Group Viola von Cramon-Taubadel.
Taubadel praised a high-level of relations between Azerbaijan and Germany. Minister Mammadyarov briefed about current state of talks on Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh as a key priority of the country`s foreign policy. He said Armenian armed forces must withdraw from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan to soon resolve the conflict. It is necessary to open communications, Azerbaijani IDPs must return their homes and, in the upshot, status of Nagorno Karabakh has to be determined on the basis of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, said Minister.
The sides also touched on bilateral and regional issues.
