AZERI BOXER WINS GOLD MEDAL IN RUSSIA
Baku, April 13 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani boxer Ismat Eynullayev weighing in at 60 kg has garnered gold medal in an international tournament in memory of the Soviet hero Konstantin Korotkov in Khabarovsk, Russia.
Eynullayev secured the title thanks to a victory over Australian Luke Jackson in the final.
Other Azeri boxers Elvin Mamishzadeh and Emil Maharramov gained bronze medals in the 51 kg and 69 kg weight categories respectively.
Along with Azerbaijan, the tournament brought together boxers from Russia, Ukraine, China, Australia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Germany and South Korea.
