Baku, April 11 (AzerTAc). The Baku Junior and Cadet World Fencing Championship has wrapped.
The tournament brought together 1565 fencers from 87 countries.
Speaking to the closing ceremony, Frantisek Janda, President of the European Fencing Confederation, praised the “well-organized” tournament.
Janda said Azerbaijan was among leading bidders to host the 2012 Senior European fencing championship.
