AZERBAIJAN, VIETNAM INK DOCUMENTS

Baku, April 10 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan and Vietnam signed Friday two documents including an agreement on visa-free travel for those who hold diplomatic and official pasports and a Protocol on cooperation between the two countries` foreign ministries.
The documents were signed by Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Quoc Cuong.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Azerbaijan`s foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov had met Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai.
Trung Hai said the Azerbaijani and Vietnamese peoples had close relations.
He said the Vietnamese who studied in Azerbaijan during the Soveit period today contribute to development of their country.
He also noted the two countries had great potential to deepen bilateral cooperation.
For his part, Mammadyarov said “such visits contribute to intensifying relations between our countries and create opportunities for expansion of cooperation in education, culture and other spheres.”
