AZERBAIJANI CONSUL GENERAL TO LOS ANGELES MAKES PRESENTATION IN UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA
Baku, April 9 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Consul General to Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov has made a presentation on “Energy Security of Azerbaijan and Europe” in the University of California in Santa Barbara city.
Suleymanov spoke of the geo-strategic position and energy policy of Azerbaijan and the country`s contribution to regional development.
The Consul General said his country plays significant role to ensure energy security of Europe.
Suleymanov pointed out Azerbaijan prefers to diversify its energy export routes, which, he added, Europe, in general, Eurasia considers important for ensuring energy security.
Touching upon Azerbaijan`s foreign policy, Suleymanov described it as “pragmatic”, saying it serves the country`s national interests.
