ANAMA DESTROYS ABOUT 3.289 THOUSAND UXOS AND MINES IN MARCH
Baku, April 8 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan National Mine Action (ANAMA) has cleared 2,220,230 sq. meters area of land from 3,289 Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) in March.
Demining operations involved 425 deminers, 6 mechanical demining machines, 30 mine mine detection dogs.
To date, ANAMA has cleared 128,498,893sq.m. of land, destroying 607,950 mines and UXOs.
The Agency has carried demining operations in Tartar, Agdam, Fizuli, Gadabay, Goygol and Garadag district of Baku.
