Non-oil exports via Khuzestan Customs Offices rise

Tehran, April 6, IRNA -- Some 9.5 million tons of non-oil commodities, worth dlrs 3.711 billion, were exported from Khuzestan province Customs Offices in the past Iranian year ended March 20, 2010.

The figure indicates 76 and 28 percent increase in terms of weight and value respectively.

The countries including South Korea, China, India, European, South East Asian and the Persian Gulf littoral states are considered as the target market for Iranian non-oil commodities via Khuzestan province Customs Offices.

Meanwhile, some 17.2 million tons of commodities, worth dlrs 9.285 million, were imported via Khuzestan province Customs Offices last year.

Bandar Imam Khomeini, Khorramshahr, Abadan and Ahwaz are the main custom offices of Khuzestan province./end
