AZERBAIJAN HAS FASTEST GROWING ECONOMY IN WORLD, PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV
Azerbaijan is the world`s leading country in terms of economic growth rates, President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with the Shirvan public.
The Head of State noted 2009 year was a test for the world countries.
Though the economic and financial crisis hit all nations, Azerbaijan is the country, which posted the fastest growing economy across the world in 2009, and managed to gain economic accomplishments. “Our economy has grown by about 10 percent”, the President added.
The Head of State underlined this indicator shows itself in people`s welfare, thriving cities, as well as roads and plants built.
