AZERI WEIGHTLIFTERS TO BATTLE FOR EUROPEAN MEDALS
Baku, April 2 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani weightlifters will compete in the European championship starting in Minsk, Belarus, on Monday.
The national squad will include Zulfugar Suleymanov weighing in at 62 kg, Sardar Hasanov at 69 kg and Rovshan Fatullayev at 94 kg.
Twice world champion Nizami Pashayev will be out of the national team.
The tournament will bring together more than 300 weightlifters from 35 countries.
