PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV OPENS ARAZ PLANT IN SHIRVAN CITY
Shirvan, April 1 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today opened here the Araz plant of the Ministry of Defense Industry`s Aggregate Production Association.
First, the Head of State put flowers at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the yard of the plant.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility and became familiar with it.
The Head of State saw a video featuring the previous view of the plant and its layout.
President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the Heydar Aliyev museum established in the plant.
The President also viewed an exhibition of civil and military products.
The Head of State was informed that reconstruction in the facility started after the establishment of the Ministry of Defense Industry.
The territory of the plant covers 174 hectares. It employs 70 people.
President Ilham Aliyev praised the work done here and gave certain instructions and recommendations.
