AZERBAIJAN PERMANENT MISSION INVESTIGATES “NKR PRIME MINISTER” UN OFFICIAL MEETINGS
Baku, April 1 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s permanent mission to UN inquired into media reports from Armenia that Ara Arutunyan introducing himself as “ Prime Minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic”, allegedly entered the UN headquarters and held official meetings, on November 18, 2009.
Azerbaijan`s permanent mission obtained an official information from UN relevant structures, Azeri Foreign Ministry said.
The mission learned that the structures did not give any permit to Ara Arutunyan to enter the UN headquarters.
Given a part of the building is opened for tourists, it is not inconceivable, Arutunyan entered the United Nations headquarters as tourist or student. Thus, information spread in Armenian press is false.
