Iran dismisses irrelevant remarks of Yemeni president
Tehran, March 30, IRNA -- An Iranian official on Monday dismissed as "irrelevant" the remarks by Yemeni president in an interview with the Saudi media.
The official said that Iran has always backed Yemen and wished for benevolence, peace and welfare for the Yemeni people.
He said that Iran believes that Yemeni crisis in the city of Sada should be resolved through peaceful means and there is no room for military intervention there.
Iran welcomes termination of crisis, military involvement in Sada, Yemen, and interference of aliens and hopes the peaceful approach be continued, he said.
Criticizing Yemeni record of anti-Iran propaganda, the official deplored that Yemen waged propaganda campaign against Iran over intercepting an Iranian cargo ship and said that at last the country’s president, in his interview with the Saudi media, has admitted that the ship was empty./end
