INDIAN AMBASSADOR VISITS TOVUZ REGION OF AZERBAIJAN

Baku, March 26 (AzerTAc). Indian ambassador to Azerbaijan Debnath Shaw traveled to Tovuz region of Azerbaijan where he met with governor Tofig Zeynalov.
The ambassador was briefed about the region`s history, culture and economic potential.
Shaw said India is keen on cooperating with Azerbaijan in the non-oil sectors.
Indian diplomat visited Agdam, Alibeyli and Hajiali villages located close to the Armenian border. Armenian armed forces shattered a ceasefire minutes before the arrival of Shaw.
Indian ambassador said his country supports territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and favors resolution of the conflict based on international norms and principles.
During the trip, Debnath Shaw visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum and a military unit.
