ROSSELKHOZBANK “TO OPEN” AZERBAIJAN OFFICE
Baku, March 21 (AzerTAc). Russian trade representative in Azerbaijan Yuri Schedrin has said Russia's agricultural bank Rosselkhozbank planned to open its representative office in Baku.
Rosselkhozbank, the fully state-controlled bank, was set up in 2000 to boost Russia`s agricultural sector.
Schedrin said there were over 500 companies with Russian capital operating in Azerbaijan.
“Russia is interested in expanding the scope of its firms` business in Azerbaijan.”
“Our companies, in particular, want to be involved in projects as part of the implementation of the state program of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan`s regions.”
