SOCAR, SAIPEM DISCUSS BUSINESS COOPERATION
Baku, March 19 (AzerTAc). Rovnag Abdullayev, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic, met Thursday with Yves Inbona, Director of the offshore business unit of Saipem, Italian oil and gas industry contractor.
SOCAR Chief briefed Inbona on the accomplishments achieved by Azerbaijan in the oil and gas industry over recent years. He highlighted the role of foreign partners in country`s successes. Abdullayev pointed out favorable climate was provided for foreign investors in Azerbaijan, adding successful implementation of large-scale projects is an evidence of it.
Inbona noted Saipem implements a variety of projects in a number of countries. According to him, the company is committed to the effective cooperation with every country including Azerbaijan.
Abdullayev noted SOCAR and Saipem have successfully cooperated during 10 years through Bosshelf joint company
