PRESIDENT: AZERBAIJAN SEES GROWING INVESTMENT IN ALL SPHERES OF LIFE
Baku, March 17 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has said the country enjoys a growing flow of investment in all spheres of life.
The President spoke to a conference on the first year of implementation of “State Program of socio-economic development of regions for 2009-2013”.
“Azerbaijan enjoys very favorable environment for foreign investment. And it is our achievements in the oil and gas sector that, first and foremost, allowed us to have become what we are today.”
The President said: “We`ve set up the State Investment Company to attract foreign and local investment, including from the private sector to the spheres we need. And we`ve got it done.”
“We`ve been implementing crucial projects through the company. And these projects, which cover all spheres of life, in particular infrastructure, transport and agriculture, help us strengthen the country,” the President added.
