‘HISTORICAL EVENTS SHOULD BE JUDGED BY HISTORIANS’

Baku, March 16 (AzerTAc). Visiting OSCE PA`s special representative for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Swedish MP Goran Lenmarker disapproved of a resolution adopted by his country`s parliament regarding the so-called “Armenian genocide”, saying historians rather than parliaments should judge historical events.
“My opinions coincide with the Swedish government`s stance on this issue which condemns the resolution and considers it a blow to relations with Turkey.”
