‘ARMENIAN COMMUNITY MAY NOT JOIN PEACE TALKS’
Baku, March 16 (AzerTAc). The Armenian community of Nagorno-Karabakh may not join peace talks, said Goran Lennmarker, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly`s special representative for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“There is the format of negotiations within the OSCE Minsk Group and the process must be continued on its basis. I think there is no need in other format. It would be wrong to change it,” he said.
Lennkarker underlined the problem must be solved this year.
“This conflict has a long history and despite a cease-fire the parties suffer casualties. However, war cannot be a way of solving any conflict including the Nagorno-Karabakh one,” Lennmarker added.
