CHAIRMAN OF CAUCASIAN MUSLIMS` OFFICE AWARDED CRESCENT AND STAR ORDER
Baku, March 12 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims` Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh has been awarded a Crescent and Star Order by International Security Committee (INTERSAFETY) and UN council for public awards (UNCOPA).
Pashazadeh was honored for his contribution to “strengthening Muslims` integration into the international community, promoting peace and tolerance as well as developing ethnic and inter-confessional relations”.
Pashazadeh received the award at a ceremony in Baku.
The order was established in 2009.
