AZERBAIJAN, KOREA DISCUSS ENVIRONMENTAL COOPERATION

Baku, March 12 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of ecology and natural resources Huseyngulu Baghirov has met Korea`s Minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Chung Jong-hwan.
They discussed ways of boosting cooperation in environmental protection.
Jong-hwan said “Korea will assist Azerbaijan in applying modern technologies in environmental and nature conservation projects”.
Azerbaijan and Korea signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of environmental protection on May 19, 2008.
