AZERI AMBASSADOR TO GERMANY HOLDS MEETINGS IN SAXONY-ANHALT STATE
Baku, March 11 (AzerTAc). Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany Parviz Shahbazov visited the coutnry`s Saxony-Anhalt state where he met Prime Minister Wolfgang Bohmer.
The talks focused on the prospects for bilateral political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The ambassador also met President of the State`s Parliament Dieter Steinecke to discuss relations between Azerbaijan and Germany, the ongoing reforms in his country and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Steinecke stressed the necessity of development of youth cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saxony-Anhalt.
Shahbazov`s another meeting took place with Andreas Muller, official of the capital Magdeburg`s Chamber of Commerce and Industry to exchange views on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany.
As part of the visit, the diplomat also met with members of the Azerbaijani community.
